How the 30 day challenge wheel works
Choose a level (easy, medium or bold), spin, and the wheel lands on one of six areas of life and gives you a challenge from it. Do it today, then press the button to mark the day.
Your streak and your 30-day grid live in your browser on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere, and there is no account.
Why a 30 day challenge works better in small steps
A 30 day challenge fails when day 12 asks for more courage than day 1 prepared you for. Starting at easy and moving up keeps each day a little uncomfortable but doable.
Missing a day is not the end. Research on habit formation (Lally et al., UCL) found that a missed day did not derail the process; what mattered was coming back.
Questions about the challenge wheel
Do I need an account to use the challenge wheel?
No. It runs in your browser, needs no account and does not ask for your email.
Where is my streak saved?
In your browser's local storage on this device. If you clear your browser data or use another device, the streak starts again.
Does the wheel pick the same challenge every time?
No. Each spin picks at random from the challenges of the level you chose, in the area the wheel lands on, and avoids repeating the one you just had.
Is this the same as the Boldly app?
The wheel uses a smaller set of challenges written for this page. The Boldly app has hundreds, gives you a new one every day for your lifestyle mode, and lets you save a photo and how it felt.
